Question re: Sewing Pixie's Head

Greetings!

I’ve been working on  Pixie, my smallest teddy bear attempt ever. I have everything cut out, the interfacing applied to ears, legs and arms (because I’m using fabric). These parts are sewn together and waiting to be jointed and stuffed. I’ve sewn the darts on the body….and now comes the head – I’m stumped.

There is a head front and a head back, but no gusset. I’ve sewn the fronts together as per the instructions on the pattern pieces. For the back of the head, do I sew the two pieces together (as specified on the pattern pieces) and then sew that piece to the front of the head that’s open?

In other words – HELP! 😁

OOPS! I was going by the instructions in “How to Make Teddy Bears” instead of the Pixie pattern itself. Your instructions are very concise. So sorry to have bothered you.
