After you have downloaded your pattern, print the pattern pieces out on heavy paper (like card stock or half of a manila folder). Then cut your pattern pieces out cutting on the inside of the lines. Gather your tools and supplies together (they are listed on the first page of the pattern, and you are ready to begin your lessons!

*7” X 9” piece of 1/2” ultra sparse mohair
*2″ X 2″ piece of felt (footpads)
*5 Mini T cotterpins
*6 – 1/2″ joint discs
*4 – 3/8″ joint discs
*5mm black glass eyes (1 pair)
*Artificial sinew (or strong waxed floss)
(For eyes & closing head)
*Pearle cotton (for nose & mouth)
*Upholstery thread to match fabric backing
(for hand sewing, closing seams & attaching ears)
*Fiberfill
*Stainless steel mini shot or glass beads (optional)
*Aleene’s Stop Fray
*Toothpick
*Masking tape
TOOLS:
*Sharp scissors
*Pins
*Sharpie (or other marking pen)
*Needle nose pliers
*Mini cotter pin turner (optional)
*Awl (or sharp chopstick)
*Stuffing tool (eraser end of new pencil works)
*#16 Milliners needles – hand sewing/closing seams
*3” soft sculpture needle – nose
*5” long doll needle – eyes & hiding threads
*Heavy duty CS Osborne upholstery needle (optional) – C.S. Osborne Straight Round Point Upholstery Needle Kit
*Sewing machine (optional) it is easy to hand sew too!
