Emma asked me a very good sewing question: Do I ever clip curved seams (like they teach you when you sew clothing).
No, I never clip my seams when bear making. If you clip the seams, you will weaken the seam.
The difference between sewing a garment and sewing a teddy bear is that you will be stuffing the teddy bear and putting a large amount of pressure on the seam.
You don’t want to weaken the seam in any way.
