When you sell teddy bears online, you will have to ship them to your collectors.  These videos will show you how I determine shipping costs and how I ship my bears.

      Determining Shipping Costs

You need to choose whether you will give free shipping or charge for shipping.  I chose to charge for shipping.  I ship using the US Post Office.  The first video will show you the process I used to decide what I was going to charge my US collectors for shipping.  The second video (coming soon) will show you how I came up with my International shipping prices.

I like to charge a flat rate for every US collector, regardless of zip code.  I just find that it is easier.  For the most part, I do the same with International shipping, but I use separate (lower) prices for Canada.

I also use the US Post Office for International shipping.  My Canadian collectors informed me that when they receive packages from the US via UPS or Fed Ex, that they have to pay an extra fee in addition to the customs charge that they do not have to pay when we use the US Post Office.

      Shipping Supplies

In this video I will show you what I keep on hand for shipping supplies and how I organize them.

I like to create a pretty presentation, but I also need to keep the cost reasonable so that my shipping supplies don’t eat up all of my profit.
