I wanted to share with you my latest bear making project. I was asked by a lovely lady to create some Memory Bears from her Mother’s treasured mink fur coat.
The first step was to remove the satin lining
This lovely coat was a little unusual and had a second cotton lining underneath the satin lining. This needed to be removed as well and was quite labor intensive.
Finally I had the bare coat, ready to transform into sweet Memory Bears!
Here, the bears are starting to take shape….
and then finally – the 3 finished 12″ Mink Fur Teddy Bears.
